Joe Berge; inventor of The Can Converter, is honored to accept the 2012 Retailers’ Choice Award. Unlike many other product awards, Hardware Retailing does not have an editorial panel select the winners. For this award, products are selected by a panel of actual retailers who have real-world experience in identifying unique merchandise that holds the potential for retail sales making this award even more special.
Home improvement retailers and consumers love new products, and the Retailers’ Choice Awards program at the National Hardware Show each year recognizes those selected by a panel of retailers they feel are unique, interesting and hold a great promise for sales in their stores. The fact that they select the winners shows just how much they value the manufacturers of these innovative items new to the market says Dan Tratensek, NRHA’s vice president of publishing and publisher of Hardware Retailing magazine.
For more than 35 years NRHA and Hardware Retailing magazine have sponsored the Retailers™ Choice Awards, celebrating the hottest new products of the year that not only offer innovation but provide great sales and business potential for retailers. Each year a volunteer panel of retail judges scours the floor at the National Hardware Show to find the latest and greatest products on display.
